Gorey Youth Needs Group Connecting Youth Through Live Music

With the pandemic, these are uncertain times for everyone…

Clubs, businesses, workplaces, and groups were forced to change how they connect with each other. Socialising was non-existent as the lockdown restrictions were enforced by the Irish Government.

For Gorey Youth Needs Group, they are using music to connect with the town’s youth.

James Kavanagh, also known as DJ Jakadam, is a volunteer for Gorey Youth Needs Group and he will be going Facebook live tonight to re-connect the town’s youth. The live stream will start at 6:30 via the Gorey Youth Needs Facebook group.

“Since the lockdown, we have been doing as much work as ever to keep the youth that attend our services connected. The live stream will be through our Facebook page and aims to connect our youth and spread some positivity,” James said.
