Who Wins The Wexford SHC Final? Vote Here For Naomh Eanna Or Shelmaliers

The Wexford Senior Hurling Championship final will take place next weekend…

After last weekend’s semi-finals, Naomh Eanna and the Shelmaliiers will compete in the final for the 2020 Wexford Senior Hurling Championship crown.

2018 champions Naomh Eanna defeated former kingpins Oulart-The Ballagh by the bare minimum, on a score line of 1-20 to 1-19. In the earlier game, the Shelmaliers comprehensively defeated Glynn-Barntown on a score line of 3-20 to 0-16.

Naomh Eanna will be without one of their key men, Eoin Molloy, after the centre-back suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury in the quarter-final clash versus Ferns.

The Gorey town men already defeated the Shelmaliers in a group clash this year, and they’ll be hoping to do similar next weekend. In saying that, there’s very little separating the teams and we are sure to be in for an exciting clash.

It is worth noting that the Wexford Senior hurling championship final between the Shels and the Gorey men will be broadcasted live on TG4. The final will take place next Sunday, 23rd August, at 2pm.
