Wexford woman Rachel Grace will take to the stage to contest in the 2020 Star Final music competition final on Saturday…
Rachel will contest the final at Galway’s Roisin Dubh. She has already done well winning the Leinster version of the singing competition. Rachael will now compete against Classic Yellow of Galway, Face of the Earth from Co Cavan, and Cormac Lobby of Tipperary.
Given the current restrictions many probably would have felt the competition wouldn’t have continued. However, Four Star Pizza wanted the event to go ahead albeit behind closed doors with no fans.
The competition will begin at 8pm on Saturday evening and it can be watched on the Four Star Pizza page on Facebook.
Recently, Rachel not only won the Leinster version of ‘Star’ — but she also secured a recording session at Windmill Lane Recording Studio.
We’re not surprised that Wexford woman Rachel has reached the final stages of the competition; we were so awe-struck by her duet performance with Wexford musician Sam Ali, we shared it onto Wexford Weekly’s platform at the time.
There is also plenty at stake on Saturday, as the winner will receive €3,000 worth of music equipment.
