A light aircraft has crash landed off the coast of Wexford…
National news publisher, the Irish Independent, have reported that a light aircraft believed to be carrying four people has crash landed on the Wexford coast.
The aircraft is understood to have crash landed shortly after 5pm in an area of strand near Carnsore Point, just south of Rosslare Harbour.
A major response operation is now underway including all emergency services.
The Carnsore/Rosslare Coast Guard attended a tasking at 5:20pm and were still currently dealing with the rescue at 7pm this evening.
It’s believed that four people have been taken to hospital, but mainly as a precautionary.
