Young Wexford Band Wow Spectators At Waterford City’s Spraoi Festival

It was great to see one of Wexford’s newest bands, “Mixing Spirits”, invited to play at this year’s Spraoi Festival in Waterford city last weekend…

The band comprises Kayleigh Berry on Vocals, Alex Scott-Frame on lead guitar, Ziggy Newport on rhythm guitar, Connor Lee Carr on Bass and Tim Flood on drums.

The band was only formed a few months back. They made their first appearance via Garagelandgigs.ie, ran by Dermot Lampert.

The band’s performance was streamed live to thousands of viewers nationwide.

Following the gig, Dermot noted that he was really impressed with their performance as it was their debut appearance and their very first gig.

One of the most impressive things about this Wexford band is that they’re all still only sixteen years old, and it’s clear that they have a bright future ahead.

The band are currently in the process of writing their own material and they hope to record their debut single in the coming future.
