Met Eireann issue another weather warning for Wexford

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning…

Wexford, along with several other counties in Leinster and Munster, will be impacted by the Status Yellow weather warning. Some counties in Munster, namely Waterford, Cork and Kerry, have been issued with a Status Orange warning as Storm Agnes approaches.

The Irish weather forecaster has predicted that there will be heavy rain with on Wednesday and into Wednesday night.

The Irish weather forecaster has issued both a yellow wind and a yellow rain warning for Wexford and a number of other counties in Leinster.

Some potential impacts include, coastal flooding, difficult travel conditions, power outages, and some fallen trees.

 Other impacts include localised flooding and poor visibility.

Both weather warnings for Wexford are valid from 7am on 00:00 Thursday 28/09/2023.

As Storm Agnes approaches, the weather warning may be upgraded to Status Orange.
