Here’s who the Shelmaliers will play in the first round of the AIB Leinster Club football championship

The Shelmaliers were crowned Wexford Senior Football Champions yesterday…

They avenged last year’s loss, beating Castletown in the final, despite being reduced to 14-men early in the game.

The Shels will not have too much time to celebrate their Wexford Championship win though.

They will be taking on the Westmeath champions, St Lomans, in Cusack Park next weekend, on 22.10.23 with throw-in scheduled for 2pm.

A win for the Shels will see them placed into a quarter-final against Longford champions, Emmet Og on November 5th.

Meanwhile, the Wexford Senior hurling champions, Naomh Eanna, will be looking forward to their Leinster Championship clash against the Offaly champions.
