A Wexford man has been added to the Ultimate Pool list of competitors…
Gorey native, Jordan Synott, will be battling it out against Ireland and Northern Ireland’s best this weekend.
It was announced this morning by Ultimate Pool Ireland that former European u23 Champion Jordan Synott has put his name forward to compete in a last man standing Ultimate Pool event this weekend.
It will be the first-ever Ultimate Pool Ireland Last Man Standing event.
Wexford man Synott has been described as “one of the most dangerous players in Ireland who is calm under pressure and always one to come up with the big moments.”
Synott has an impressive record on the table. As part of Irish teams, he won the European Team Championship on three separate occasions. He was named the European u23 champion in 2017, when he was only aged 20. The Gorey man also won a European Doubles championship in 2018.
He enters the Ultimate Pool tournament in good recent form too. Earlier this year in September, Synott was named the Wexford ‘250’ tournament champion. He defeated Robert Brady in the semi-final and David Kelly in the final of that competition which was held in Billy Kelly’s pub in Wexford.
The Ultimate Pool action takes place this weekend the 28th and 29th of October.
It will take place at the Racks Players Club in Ballymoney, County Antrim.
