Two Wexford winners at Irish Restaurant Awards 2026 

The Irish Restaurant Awards took place last night…

Ireland’s best hospitality businesses and professionals have been honoured at the All-Ireland Final of the 2026 Irish Restaurant Awards at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road. Now in its 17th year, the Irish Restaurant Awards received over 150,000 public nominations in 2026, showing the continued support for and engagement with Ireland’s hospitality sector.

At last night’s ceremony, more than 1,000 chefs, restaurateurs, managers and staff gathered to celebrate excellence across Ireland’s hospitality sector.

Two Wexford winners celebrated winning awards at the ceremony.


New Ross restaurant, Bearú, celebrated winning Best Contemporary Irish Cuisine in the Leinster region for 2026.

Meanwhile, Reeds Restaurant at the Ferrycarrig Hotel in County Wexford also picked up a provincial (Leinster) award. They received the award for Best Customer Service in Leinster.

No business or individual from County Wexford picked up an All-Ireland award. The All-Ireland winners were based in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Antrim, and Waterford.

Coyne’s Gastropub & Pantry — County Galway

General Merchants — Belfast

The Tannery Restaurant, Townhouse and Cookery School — County Waterford

Miyazaki — County Cork

Kai — County Galway

The Cobblestone — Dublin

64 Wine — Dublin

Comet — Dublin
