Wexford Hurler Named In Irish Squad For Annual Shinty International

The annual shinty event takes place at the GAA Centre of Excellence in Dublin’s Abbottstown this Saturday…

Two Wexford natives will represent their country at the Shinty International against Scotland this weekend.

Willie Cleary, a coach who steered Naomh Eanna to 2018 Wexford SHC glory, is joint-manager of the u-21 Irish shinty team for the third year running.

Meanwhile, Naomh Eanna clubman Eoin Molloy has been selected to represent the Irish u-21’s under Cleary’s guidance.

Hurlers from another 16 counties will also repesent the Irish this Saturday.
