For the second year in a row, Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford team will travel to America to partake in the Super 11’s Hurling Classic…
The Hurling Classic gets underway this Saturday November 16th.
Wexford face reigning champions Limerick in the semi-final stages of the four-team tournament, while Kilkenny face All-Ireland champions Tipperary in the other semi-final, which is a repeat of last year’s All-Ireland final clash.
The Treaty County defeated Wexford the last time the pair met in the tournament, but the spirits of the occasion were dampened after Oylegate-Glenbrien’s Damien Reck suffered a horror injury in the opening minutes.
