BREAKING: Another Four People In Wexford Test Positive For Coronavirus

Another four cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in Wexford..

New figures released by the Department of Health this evening shows that there’s now over 183 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in County Wexford.

This represents an increase of four since yesterday’s announcement, where another twelve cases were confirmed.

One person remains in the Intensive Care Unit in Wexford General Hospital.

As of 11am Saturday 2 May, the HPSC has been notified of 343 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. There is now a total of 21,176 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 25 people with COVID-19 have died, which brings the Republic of Ireland’s total death count to 1,286.

With the bank holiday weekend approaching, Wexford are once again urging people to stay home and not to travel to the Sunny South East until the virus is contained.
