How Many People Have Died From Covid-19 In Wexford? Here’s The Data

Covid-19 cases are on the rise in Wexford again…

From the beginning of the pandemic up to June 12th, information released from the CSO revealed that eighteen people from Wexford unfortunately lost their lives from Covid-19.

From June 12th to August 21st, the Series 11 CSO data revealed that an additional four Wexford people have died from Covid-19 complications.

This means that the number of people that died with direct complications from Covid-19 across the county of Wexford now stands at at a total of 22 people.

It must be noted that this data is only inclusive up until August 21st 2020 and that data following August 21 will be released in the next CSO publication.

As of August 21, 221 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed across Wexford. 90% of people in Wexford who tested positive up to this date survived, while 10% unfortunately lost their battle with the coronavirus.

This data is also not inclusive of suicide figures, as the data for suicides is collected quarterly and then updated on the CSO under a separate and unrelated heading.

When engaging in debate or discussion, please be cautious of the fact that these are family members; these people that unfortunately lost their lives to Covid-19 are more than statistics.

RIP.
