Over 100 Cases Of Covid-19 In Wexford Once Again

There has been thousands of new Covid-19 cases in Ireland reported daily over the previous few days..

Today, , Wexford registered 125 new cases of Covid-19. 76 were confirmed yesterday, while 140 were confirmed in Wexford the day previous.

823 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Wexford in the previous two weeks.

This was confirmed following this evening’s press statement.

It was a day when 5,325 new cases were confirmed in the Republic of Ireland, one of the largest numbers since the pandemic started. An additional seventeen people have unfortunately died as a result of the virus.

It means that Ireland’s 14-day incidence has risen and now stands at a rate of 674.4, while Wexford’s 14-day incidence rate is 549.7 per 100k, now below the national average.

With the rising numbers, we encourage everyone to stay safe and to stay at home. Together, we will get through this — and there is light at the end of the tunnel too as Covid-19 vaccinations are currently being rolled out across the country.
