Wexford Woman Issues Charity Christmas Appeal For Sick Children In Hospital

Christmas is a time for giving…

While a lot of us celebrate Christmas in our homes with our loved ones, some are forced to celebrate Christmas in a hospital bed.

That will be the case for many children this Christmas.

Bunclody woman, Clodagh Mahon, has issued an appeal for donations:

“I will be doing a toy collection/selection boxes for the children who will be in hospital this Christmas. Those who wish to donate toys can give them to me. All toys must be new. They then will be wrapped up and sorted out into the kids age groups,” Clodagh stated.

“These gifts will be given to the children at Christmas will bring such a smile to their little faces and make Christmas that little bit easier for them,” she added.

New-born kids up to children aged 17 will receive the gifts.

The following hospitals/charities will receive the wonderful gifts for the incredible children:

St Gabrials Children’s Ward – Wexford
Crumlin Children’s Hosptial – Dublin
Temple street Children’s Hosptial- Dublin
Aoibheann’s Pink Tie

No doubt, this will be a lovely gesture by the Bunclody woman. After all, Christmas is a time for giving and it feels good to give back.

A GoFundMe page has also been set up for people who are not in the area, or for people who cannot physically purchase a toy. This GoFundMe can be found at the following link.
