Wexford Gardai Seize €300,000 Worth Of Drugs In Bunclody

Gardai in Wexford seiezed approximately €300,000 euro worth of drugs yesterday…

Gardai conducted the search as part of Operation Tara.

The drugs were seized from a house in the Bunclody area.

Approximately €300,000 of cannabis and cocaine, which is subject to analysis, was seized from the property.

The search began shortly after 4pm and approximately €100,000 of cannabis herb, €180,000 in cannabis resin, and almost €24,000 worth of cocaine, subject to analysis, was located at the residence.

A number of mobile phones and other drug paraphernalia were seized at the scene. The drugs will be now be sent for further analysis.

Following the successful search, one man, who is aged in his 30s, was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
