The Frying Irishman, located in Wexford, will be closing its doors at the end of this month…
It was announced publicly today that “with huge regret, the Frying Irishman will be closing the doors for last time on the 30th September 2022” as owner Michael, also known locally as ‘Mick the Chipper’, sets his sights on enjoying retirement.
The Frying Irishman has been a vital part of Castlebridge village for countless years.
“Mick the Chipper” has helped to create much employment and supported many local events and groups down through the years and no doubt, will be sorely missed in the community.
It is the end of an era for The Frying Irishman and they have confirmed that they will not be re-opening at a later date in the future.
The owner wished his loyal staff, past and present, the best of luck in the future as another chapter in their lives will now open for them.
The popular restaurant remains open for orders until they close their doors on September 30th. If you’re in the area or even just passing through, make sure to pop in and pay them a visit.
