The community of Craanford are excited for their Ladies Football final this weekend…
It’s the first time that Craanford has entered a football team in the Championship. This Sunday, they’ll take on Sarsfeilds in the Junior C Football Championship County Final in Bellefield.
There is a real buzz among the community – and even the students at Craanford National School are getting in on the act.
The kids at the school delivered their own ‘Up for the match’ style show in the lead up to the big game this weekend.
After Des Cahill has stepped away from The Sunday Game, there has been a lot of talk about who would step in to replace him.
Evanne Ni Chuilinn, Darragh Maloney, Jacqui Hurley, and Marty Morrisey have all been tipped to replace Cahill – but there’s two new front-runners who hail from Craanford NS after they delivered their own ‘The Craanford Show’.
Both Richie Doyle and James Kavanagh show their presenting skills below as they interview an array of guests, and other students, from the classroom.
