A Wexford woman was on a successful Olympics team with Team Ireland…

Jenna Carty from Wexford was a member of Team Ireland’s Women’s Basketball team at this year’s Special Olympics World Games.

Carty, along with her team-mates, won gold medals following their exploits on the courts of Berlin this morning.

Team Ireland defeated Team Azerbaijan to claim the gold medal.
