Wexford reusable nappy brand shortlisted for Prestigious RDS award

A Wexford reusable nappy brand has been shortlisted for a prestigious award…

Irish reusable nappy brand EcoKinly has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Emerging Category of the 2026 RDS Circular Economy Awards, recognising innovative organisations working to build a more sustainable and regenerative economy in Ireland.

Delivered in collaboration with Trinity Executive Education, the RDS Circular Economy Awards celebrate businesses and organisations that champion circular practices, reduce waste, and develop sustainable solutions for the future.

EcoKinly is one of five finalists selected nationally in the Emerging Category, alongside Lurra Bio, Shareclub, The Toy Library, and West to West Pictures.

Founded in Wexford, EcoKinly is quicky becoming a household name for sustainability leading a national growing interest in reusable nappies and reusable period care products, helping households reduce single-use waste while saving money. The brand’s mission is to make sustainable parenting accessible and practical for everyday families.

Founder Kate Doyle has said the recognition really highlights the growing momentum behind reusable solutions:

“We’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted for the RDS Circular Economy Awards. At EcoKinly, our goal is to make reusable products simple, accessible, and mainstream for families. Being recognised alongside such inspiring organisations shows how much progress Ireland is making towards a more circular future and that our brand message and products offer value to consumers,” she told Wexford Weekly.

The winners of the 2026 RDS Circular Economy Awards will be announced on 16th April 2026 at the RDS Foundation Festival, “Finding Common Ground.”

EcoKinly hopes the nomination will help raise awareness of reusable solutions and encourage more families, retailers, and organisations to embrace circular alternatives.
