The Wexford hurlers are set to travel to the New York Fenway Hurling Classic next month. They’ll face Kilkenny, All-Ireland champions Tipperary and current Fenway title holders Limerick.
This year’s Fenway Hurling Classic takes place on November 16th. Following the tournament in New York, the Wexford Senior hurlers will take a seven-day trip to Orlando, Florida. Extensive fundraising plans are already in place for the Senior hurlers.
A behind the scenes DVD of Wexford’s three-year campaign under Davy Fitzgerald is due to be released soon, while Wexford GAA will also host a corporate dinner, where sixty tables are hoped to be sold to aid in the fundraising campaign. On the night of the corporate dinner, the Wexford hurlers will receive their Leinster Championship winner’s medals.
