Coach Forced To Pull Niall Kennedy Out Of His Paddy’s Day Showdown Fight

This is terrible news for the Wexford boxer…

Unfortunately, professional Wexford boxer Niall “Boom Boom Bas” Kennedy will no longer be fighting on the St Patrick’s Day card over in Boston.

Kennedy’s coach, Packy Collins, has been forced to rule the Gorey Garda out of the fight due to Wexford-man fracturing his thumb during his training camp.

Reports from Irish-Boxing.com have emerged that Kennedy wanted to fight on, despite fracturing his fractured thumb.

In a post issued to Twitter, Packy Collins confirmed the news.

It’s heartbreaking news for Kennedy, however, we’re sure that we’ll see the big man in the ring again soon.
