This is very sad news…
A 36-year-old male has died after he was struck by a car at approximately 9:50pm on Tuesday .
The incident occurred on the N25 at Portersland near New Ross.
Gardai are now appealing for witnesses following the fatal incident in Wexford yesterday. The Gardai are urging anyone with information, and especially — anyone with dash cam footage at the time, to come forward.
The man was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford where he was later pronounced dead.
This sad news follows previous sad news from the New Ross area after another well-known 70-year old recently lost his life after his tractor overturned.
