A new book completely dedicated to Wexford GAA will be released soon…
A new book, entitled the Wexford GAA Bible, will be released in the coming months during the Winter with the aim for the beginning or middle of November 2021.
The book, which is written by Dominic Williams, will be published by Hogan Print and Design in Wexford.
The book will follow Wexford’s history from 1887 to the current team, looking at all of their successes along the way.
Speaking to Wexford Weekly, Dominic said:
“I published the sold-out first edition in 2008 and I felt an up to date version was now due. The book contains every conceivable statistic of GAA activity in County Wexford from 1887 to 2020. Significant extra information is also now included in the new edition including all Ladies Football and Camogie Club and County results, as well as numerous other items of historical interest,” he said about the new book.
The new Wexford GAA bible has been supported by Wexford GAA and the supporter’s club. A contribution of €5,000 was approved last year for the completion of the book.
No doubt, it’ll be an ideal present for that special Wexford GAA fan in your life. With its intended release just before Christmas, we’re confident that this will be another popular present underneath the Christmas tress across Wexford this year.
