Former Wexford Senior Hurling Coach Under Fitzgerald Joins New Management Team

A former Wexford Senior hurling coach under Davy Fitzgerald has joined a new management team…

Seoirse Bulfin, who has been Davy Fitzgerald’s right-hand man with the Wexford Senior hurlers, has taken up a new role.

Bulfin will join the Meath Senior hurling set-up as a coach for the upcoming season, with new manager Nick Weir being ratified as the new Meath Senior hurling manager at yesterday’s County Board meeting.

Bulfin was involved in the coaching staff throughout all of Fitzgerald’s five-year spell at Wexford and played a central role in Wexford’s Leinster final success in 2019.

Given his relationship with Fitzgerald, it could also suggest that Davy Fitz will not be joining another county this year, despite strong links to the Galway Senior hurling set-up following his departure from Wexford.
