Wexford’s Rianna Jarrett Scores Against Sunderland

It was a pretty good weekend for Wexford footballers currently plying their trade in England…

Firstly, Festy Ebosele, the young Wexford man who was nurtured at Moyne Rangers, scored his first professional goal for Derby County yesterday.

Ebosele helped Derby County, who are currently struggling in the Sky Bet Championship, to secure an important point against Millwall who are currently mid-table.

Then, today (Sunday), Wexford’s Rianna Jarrett found the net which helped to see the London City Lionesses secure a victory over Sunderland.

Jarrett scored in the 88th minute, with the game ending 2-0 in favour of Jarrett’s London Lionesses’ side. Their win today now sees the London City Lionesses sit on third spot of the FA WSL2 table behind Durham and Liverpool.
