Shelmaliers’ Opponents Now Confirmed For Leinster Club Championship

The Shelmaliers’ attention will now turn to the All-Ireland Club Football and Leinster Club Football Championship.

The new Wexford champions were due to take on the either the Louth/Carlow champions in the Leinster club football quarter-final.

Today, the Louth champions (Naomh Mairtin) battled it out against the Carlow champions (Rathvilly) with the winner due to take on the Wexford champions.

The Louth champions comprehensively defeated the Carlow champions today on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-05.

After today’s result, it has now been confirmed that the Shelmaliers will take on the Louth champions, Naomh Mairtin, in the Leinster Club championship.

This quarter-final clash will be an away clash for the Wexford champions, and it’s due to take place on December 5th at 1pm.

A win for the Shelmaliers will see them play the Leinster club football semi-final double-header set for the GAA’s headquarters, Croke Park, Dublin.
