Joint-Managers: The Wexford Ladies Footballers Confirm Their Managerial Set-Up

After their relegation to Division 3, Paul Carty resigned from his role and in stepped Lizzy Kent on a temporary basis…

The Wexford Ladies Footballers Management Committee and players placed their trust in Lizzy Kent who took on the role on an interim basis.

Kent, who played with the Wexford Ladies Footballers, also has an array of experience working as a coach across the world. She has also coached underage teams for the Wexford Youths women, along with the Irish women’s u-19 teams.

In quite a remarkable turn-around, the Wexford Ladies Footballers under Kent’s stewardship went on to reach the Intermediate Football Final.

It has now been confirmed that Lizzy Kent will continue in her role as manager of the Wexford Intermediate Ladies Football team.

Kent will be joined by John Nolan on Realt na Mara, Ballygarret, and both will co-manage the team for the 2022 season.

It’s a great boost for the team ahead of the new season.
