Wexford GAA Could Follow Limerick With Proactive Approach Due To Covid-19

The GAA have taken proactive measures in response to COVID-19..

The GAA have called off all of the association’s action until 29 March. As we’re sure you’re aware, the postponements are due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

Limerick GAA, however, have now gone one step further.

Tonight, Limerick GAA released a statement postponing all club action for the month of April too.

April, which was meant to be a club-only month, will now see no club championship action in Limerick GAA inclusive of all minor, u-21, junior, intermediate and senior grades.

Meanwhile, Galway have also postponed their club championship fixtures which are due to take place during the first week of April.

With GAA training sessions called to a halt nationwide, it would be no surprise to see Wexford GAA follow suit with similar action.
