A memorial walk is set to take place later this month for the late Brandon Roche…
Taking place on September 27th, it will start at Mary Jo’s, Larkin’s Cross in County Wexford. It will be the first memorial run to take place after Brandon’s untimely death in November 2024.
The memorial run will leave at 2pm sharp and both refreshments and live music will be made available upon return. Both cars and bikes are welcomed to join, with a €10 sign-up fee with all proceeds going to charity.
“As we all know suicide has devasted our little town for a long time and although the stigma of talking and sharing our problems isn’t as prevalent it most certainly is still a problem.”
“When Samantha approached us here at Notorious MCC to get involved in a memorial run and fundraiser for her son Brandon Roche who passed away we were delighted at the opportunity to help and it was a no brainer that MAN UP a local mental health outlet here in Wexford would be the charity we would raise funds.”
“MAN UP recently had to stop their face to face meetings due to funding they are completely self funded with no help from anybody. Any body that knew Brandon knew his bubbly funny chap who was loved and adored by his family and friends so let’s do this for Brandon and MAN UP so that we can put the tools in place to stop other families from going through the same heartbreak Samantha and her family have had to endure,” Dylan Murphy said.
A raffle and a leg wax will also take place with all proceeds going to ManUp in aid of Mental Health in Wexford.
A GoFundMe has also been set up with a target of reaching €1.6k.
